“To accelerate construction, they may need to sacrifice some of their rest time…”
The Working Overtime event in Kingshot happens a few times during the early days of a state. In this event, you earn points by using speedups. These points help you unlock milestone rewards, which come in four tiers—each needing more points than the last.
You can also compete on the leaderboard against other players in your state, and if you rank in the top 100, you’ll get even more rewards!
Event Tasks

These are the tasks you can complete in the event to earn points:
- Use 1m of Speedups for Construction – 1 Point
- Use 1m of Speedups for Research – 1 Point
The final reward tier unlocks at 1,180 points, which means you’ll need to use 1,180 minutes worth of speedups to claim it.
Rewards

The event offers pretty good rewards. To get all of them, start saving speedups as soon as it appears on the event calendar. 1,180 minutes of research and construction speedups combined will be enough to unlock all milestone rewards.
But if you’re aiming for the top 100 on the leaderboard for extra rewards, you’ll need to save up a lot more. The final tier gives gems and skill books, while the other tiers provide plenty of resources to help with building upgrades.
Honor Ranking
The top 100 players who use the most speedups during the event make it onto the Honor Ranking leaderboard and earn a big reward of gems and speedups when the event ends.
But, for F2P players, it’s much harder to secure a spot, especially when the event happens right after the Hall of Governors, where many F2Ps have already used up their speedups.
These are the rewards for securing a spot on the leaderboard:
