Buccaneer Bounty is a major event in Kingshot that shows up every 4 to 6 weeks and lasts for 7 days. The main goal during this event is to open chests using Corsair Keys and try to get the Pearl of Enigma. You can then use these pearls in the Emporium of Enigma Store to buy valuable stuff like exclusive march skins and city skins.
The event has three sections: Harbor Drill, Buccaneer Bounty, and Emporium of Enigma.
In Harbor Drill, you complete daily tasks to earn Corsair Keys. Then, in the Buccaneer Bounty tab, you use those keys to open chests. The chests give you random items and sometimes a chance to get Pearls of Enigma. Once you collect enough pearls, head over to the Emporium of Enigma tab to spend them on various rewards.
Now let’s break down what each tab does in more detail.
Harbor Drill
The first thing you should do during the Buccaneer Bounty event is collect Corsair Keys. You can get them by going to the Harbor Drill tab in the event. Inside this tab, there are two parts: Harbor Drill and Daily Drill.
In the Daily Drill section, you’ll find a list of tasks you can complete to earn Corsair Keys, Treasure Hunt Points, and a few other rewards. The main ones to focus on are Corsair Keys (used to open chests in the Buccaneer Bounty tab) and Treasure Hunt Points (used to unlock milestone rewards in the Harbor Drill section).
These milestone rewards can give you even more Corsair Keys, along with useful stuff like speedups, hero EXP, and gems.
You can do the following Daily Tasks to earn Corsair Keys during the event:
- Daily Login – 30 Corsair Keys, 200 Treasure Hunt Points
- Use 1000m of Speedups – 30 Corsair Keys, 100 Treasure Hunt Points
- Defeat 10 Beasts – 30 Corsair Keys, 100 Treasure Hunt Points
- Use Epic Recruitment 2 Times – 30 Corsair Keys, 100 Treasure Hunt Points
- Finish 5 Intel Missions – 100 Treasure Hunt Points
- Raise 30,000 power by training/promoting troops – 100 Treasure Hunt Points
Harbor Tome
During the event, you can buy a special pack called the Harbor Tome for $4.99. It lets you double your Daily Drill rewards and also unlocks Epic Rewards in the Harbor Drill milestones. These Epic Rewards give you extra Corsair Keys, plus gems, shards, and skill books.
Buccaneer Bounty
Once you’ve collected enough Corsair Keys from the Harbor Drill tab, head over to the Buccaneer Bounty tab to start opening chests. You’ll see 9 chests at a time, and there are 3 types: Regular, Exquisite, and Splendid. No matter the type, each chest costs 60 Corsair Keys to open.
The higher the rarity, the better your chances of getting more Pearls of Enigma. Splendid Chests are the best ones, but they show up rarely. If you don’t see any, you can hit the “Refresh” button to try your luck. You get 3 free refreshes per day, and after that, refreshing costs Corsair Keys. Also, if you open all 9 chests, they’ll refresh automatically for free.
There are also milestone rewards for opening a certain number of chests. The first milestone is at 5 chests opened, and it gives you gems as a reward.
Corsair Key Packs
If you run out of keys, you can buy more directly from the Buccaneer Bounty tab by clicking the “+” button next to your Corsair Keys. The key packs range in price from $0.99 to $99.99.

These packs reset every day, so you can buy them again the next day.
Emporium of Enigma
The last event tab is the Emporium of Enigma, where you spend the Pearls of Enigma you’ve collected from opening chests in the Buccaneer Bounty tab. You can buy several rare items here, like Forgehammers, Widget Chests, March Skins, City Skins, Mythic Hero Gear Chests, Mythic Hero Shards, Speedups, and Resource Chests.
Just make sure to use your pearls before the event ends—any leftover pearls will be automatically converted into resources.
Event Tips
- If you’re F2P (free-to-play), it’s best to focus only on opening Splendid Chests. Use your three free refreshes each day to try and find Splendid Chests. If you run out of refreshes and there aren’t any left, just save your remaining keys for the next day instead of using them on lower-tier chests.
- The best reward for F2Ps from this event is the Widget Chests. This event is one of the best ways to get widgets for the newest generation of heroes, so that should be your main goal.
- If you’re a light spender, grabbing the Harbor Tome pack for $4.99 is worth it. It doubles your daily rewards and helps you get more value from the event—possibly even enough to grab the 280-pearl march skin.

- Don’t forget to use your Pearls of Enigma before the event ends—they don’t carry over and will be turned into resources. However, Corsair Keys do carry over to the next Buccaneer Bounty event, so you can hang on to those if you want.
