Develop New Tech is an event in Kingshot that takes place a few times during the early days of a state. In this event, you can earn points by using speedups on research in the Academy. As you accumulate points, you unlock milestone rewards, with a total of four tiers available to claim.
Event Tasks
The event has only one available task:
- Use 1m of Speedups for Research – 1 point
Start saving Research Speedups as soon as the event appears on the calendar. This way, you’ll have enough to complete the event right away and claim all the rewards. The final reward tier unlocks at 1,170 points, and since 1 minute of speedup = 1 point, you’ll need 1,170 minutes of speedups to finish the event.
Rewards
Like other milestone-based events, the Develop New Tech event has two types of rewards. First, there are milestone rewards, which everyone can claim by earning points. Then, there are leaderboard rewards, which are given to the top 100 players in the state based on points earned during the event.
