Kingdom of Power (KvK or SvS) is a major event in Kingshot where two kingdoms fight against each other through several phases. Your kingdom becomes eligible for KvK matchmaking once it’s 80 days old. After that, your kingdom gets included in the next KvK cycle, which happens every 4 weeks, with matchmaking starting on Saturdays.
There are four phases in this event:
- Matchmaking Phase
- Preparation Phase
- Battle Phase
- Field Triage Phase
Matchmaking Phase (2 Days)
This is when the system matches your kingdom with another one that has a similar power level. Power is calculated based on the top 100 players in your state and the generation of the state. Taking off Hero Gear or unequipping stuff doesn’t affect this matchmaking.

If the game can’t find a match for your kingdom during the Matchmaking Phase, the Kingdom of Power event won’t happen for you that month. Instead, your kingdom will get Matchmaking Bye Rewards, which include 100 Kingdom Coins and some other items.

Preparation Phase (5 Days)
Each day during the Preparation Phase, new tasks show up that players can complete to earn points. The goal is to get more points than the other kingdom. The kingdom with more total points after 5 days wins this phase.
Whoever wins the Preparation Phase will attack the King’s Castle of the losing Kingdom during the Battle Phase. The winning kingdom’s castle becomes safe and can’t be attacked.

Rewards
You can earn:
- Personal Rewards Chests
- Medal Rewards
- Phase Ranking Rewards and Total Ranking Rewards
There are three Personal Reward Chests you can unlock each day during the KvK preparation phase by earning points. The final chest usually requires 200,000 points. When you reach that, you also earn a State Medal, which you can use to claim Medal Rewards.
You can get 1 State Medal per day, so by the end of the 5-day prep phase, you’ll have 5 Medals. The 6th and final Medal needed to unlock the last Medal Rewards comes from the Battle Phase — you get it by taking part in the King’s Castle Battle.

Every day, the top 2000 players (based on points) get daily Phase Ranking Rewards, which usually include gems, speedups, and resources.
The top 50 alliances also get daily Alliance Phase Ranking Rewards that include gems, recruitment keys, and other useful items.
At the end of the 5 days, there are also Total Ranking Rewards:
- Top 2000 players get Personal Total Ranking Rewards
- Top 200 players also get Hero Shards for the featured hero
- Top 50 alliances get Alliance Total Ranking Rewards based on the points they earned over 5 days

Battle Phase
The Battle Phase is when the real fighting begins. The kingdom that lost the Preparation Phase has to defend their King’s Castle, while the winning kingdom goes on the attack. This phase lasts for 12 hours, from 10:00 UTC to 22:00 UTC.
Players from both kingdoms can teleport to each other’s territory using Cross-Kingdom Teleporters, which unlock at 10:00 UTC. You can attack players from the opposing kingdom, but keep in mind—you’ll only earn points if their Town Center is within 3 levels of yours.
Note: Alliance Buildings cannot be attacked during Battle Phase.
The big Castle Battle starts at 12:00 UTC, and at that point, all positions for both kingdoms are reset—meaning both Kings and other titles are removed.
If the attacking kingdom wins the battle, they get to appoint a High King, who rules over both kingdoms.
If they lose, things go back to normal: the defending kingdom’s alliance that held the Castle for the longest appoints their regular King. The attacking kingdom also appoints their regular King, which goes to the alliance from their side that held the Castle the longest during the battle.
So basically, a High King is only appointed if one kingdom wins both the Preparation Phase and the Battle Phase.
The castle fight works like regular King’s Castle battles but with better rewards. One key difference: if the alliance holding the castle turrets is from the same kingdom as the alliance that captured the castle, the turrets won’t shoot at the King’s Castle.
If the same alliance from the same kingdom that holds the King’s Castle also captures the turrets, each turret gives a Lethality Bonus to the squads from that kingdom. The more turrets they control, the bigger the bonus:
- 1 turret: +8% Squad Lethality
- 2 turrets: +12% Squad Lethality
- 3 turrets: +15% Squad Lethality
- 4 turrets: +20% Squad Lethality

There are also Personal Ranking Rewards and Alliance Ranking Rewards for the Battle Phase of the Kingdom of Power event.

- Alliance Ranking Rewards are given to the top 50 alliances based on total points earned during the Battle Phase.
You earn these points by defeating enemy troops.

Field Triage Phase
The final phase of the event is called the Field Triage Phase. This is your chance to recover a large portion of the troops you lost during the Battle Phase.
By default, you can rescue 30% of your lost troops. You can increase this rescue rate up to 90% by using Medical Satchels (bought with gems) and getting Rescue Orders from your alliance members.
- Medical Satchels add 10% to your rescue rate (so 30% base + 10% = 40%)
- Rescue Orders from alliance members can add up to another 50%
Each alliance member can receive up to 50 Rescue Orders, which pushes the total rescue rate from 40% to 90%. Every alliance member gets 20 Rescue Orders that they can give to other members.
The troops recovered in this phase are only the ones that were completely lost in battle—those that didn’t fit in your Infirmary and didn’t go to the Enlistment Office. Troops in the Enlistment Office aren’t included in this and must be recovered separately using Loyalty Points.

Kingdom of Power Shop
The Kingdom of Power shop first opens on Day 1 of the Preparation Phase during the first Kingdom of Power event. After that, it stays open permanently, and you can spend your Kingdom Coins there anytime.
The shop resets every 2 weeks, so if you buy something, you’ll have to wait for it to restock. The first three items in the shop are exclusive rewards for the kingdom that wins the event — these are the Sky Guardian Avatar Frame, Truegold, and Mythic General Hero Shards.
