“Caravans on the golden highway of trade have become a new tool for governors to accumulate vast wealth.”
Merchant Empire is a monthly event in Kingshot that usually shows up right after the Kingdom of Power event week, often alongside the Alliance Brawl event. But if your kingdom isn’t eligible for Alliance Brawl yet, then Merchant Empire runs on its own.
The event lasts 7 days, but you can only escort caravans for the first 6 days. The 6th day is a bit longer—28 hours—so it spills over into day 7 by 4 extra hours. During these final 4 hours, you can still attack other players’ carts, but you can’t escort any new ones.
Event Overview
During the Merchant Empire event, your goal is to successfully escort loot carts (called Caravans) to their destination. Doing this earns you Alliance Brawl points and rewards based on the cart’s rarity.
Rewards can include things like forgehammers, gems, shards, governor gear, charm items, pet items, resources, quick march, or skill books. However, your caravans can also be attacked by other players.
Caravan Rarity and Refreshing
There are four rarities of Caravans:
- N (Normal)
- R (Rare)
- SR (Epic)
- SSR (Mythic)
You can refresh the caravan’s rarity by hitting the refresh button. Each caravan gets one free refresh. After that, you can refresh using either Caravan Vouchers or gems (if you don’t have vouchers). After the 6th refresh, you’re guaranteed to get an SSR caravan.
This is the gem cost for each refresh:
- 1st: 100 gems
- 2nd: 200 gems
- 3rd: 300 gems
- 4th: 400 gems
- 5th and beyond: 500 gems
Sending Caravans
- You can send 2 caravans at a time.
- You’re allowed to send 4 total caravans per day (every 24 hours).
- Each caravan takes around 3.5 hours to finish its journey.
Caravan Attacks and Defense
Other players can attack your caravans, which reduces your loot and Alliance Brawl points. You can lose up to 50% of your loot if attacked.
To protect a caravan, press the “Assisting Squads” button (next to the Escort button) and choose an alliance member to assist you. You can only use this once a day.
You can also offer assistance to help protect your alliance members’ caravans by pressing the “My Assistance” button in the Merchant Empire tab. You’ll get a small reward based on how well that caravan did during its journey. You can get rewards for up to 3 assists per day.
Caravan Power
The strength of your caravan depends on your:
- Hero levels
- Gears
- Pet skills
- Buffs
- Governor gear
- Charms
Caravan power updates in real time, so if you upgrade your heroes or gear, your caravan power increases immediately.
Raiding Caravans
You can raid other players’ caravans in two ways:
- By finding them on the world map
- In the Merchant Empire tab under “Other’s Caravan”
You can raid caravans from your own kingdom or other kingdoms. If you don’t want to see your kingdom’s caravans, just tap the eye icon to hide them.
- You can raid up to 4 caravans per day.
- Only successful raids count; failed ones don’t use up your limit.
- When you tap “Raid Now”, the raid happens instantly—no waiting.
You can raid the same caravan twice.
If the caravan has your competing Alliance Brawl alliance tag, raiding it will reduce their score, helping your alliance.
If you see crossed swords on a caravan, that means the player previously raided your caravan.
Some caravans may show fire icons:
- 🔥 = raided once
- 🔥🔥 = raided twice
This means part of the loot might already be gone. So before raiding, check the cart to see if it still has the items you’re after.
Tip: Raiding yellow (SSR) caravans gives better rewards, so they’re worth targeting!
